Intake
Intake
Intake is a calorie companion designed to make daily tracking feel lighter, faster, and easier to understand.
Personal project · Product design · Brand identity · AI-assisted prototyping
Instead of turning food into a spreadsheet, Intake keeps the focus on one simple loop: log a meal, review the estimate, adjust what matters, and immediately see where your day stands.

The interface was built around clarity first. The Today view gives calories and nutrients a strong visual hierarchy, while meal entry keeps the flow short: describe or scan → review → edit portions → choose the meal and date → save. The visual system mixes a dark, textured base with warm orange and soft purple accents, combining the utility of a tracking tool with a rougher, more expressive identity.

YOUR MEAL. YOUR FINAL SAY.
Interactive prototype
In Figma, Intake’s identity took shape as an interface built with Auto Layout and reusable components. Buttons, fields, nutrient cards and navigation share a consistent visual language, from the Today screen to logging a meal.
The screens were connected into an interactive prototype with transitions and loading, confirmation and error states. The flow lets you explore logging, reviewing and editing meals before saving them to the journal. Estimates and food recognition are simulated to demonstrate the experience.
